The Michael Pachleitner Group Logistics Centre was built in a central European location to ensure rapid logistics management. From the Czech Republic, overnight shipping of all MP Group products to many sales locations within Central Europe is possible – above all to Austria and Germany. It all starts with a comparatively modest 5,500 m² space in 2012 – just the size of 21 tennis courts. After the second expansion stage in 2017 to 15,000 m², the logistics centre in Domažlice, Czech Republic is now larger than two standard football pitches. 150 players are currently active in this space, guaranteeing the perfect interplay of frames and lenses. They fashion the entire lenses at the onsite grinding workshop. At the moment, this amounts to almost half a million orders a year. In 2015, the logistics centre was certified by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Thus all processes meet globally recognised standards. This guarantees customers and partners of the MP Group stable, top quality products and services. All facts at a glance:
